Mixtape Mondays | Acoustic Sessions

This Mixtape is pretty self-explanatory, so I will keep it short and sweet. There is just something pretty special when a band strips down and goes acoustic. I remember the first time I went to a Travis gig and they not only went acoustic, but also literally unplugged, switching off the amps to play Flowers in the Window with a guitar, a tambourine and Fran's vocal chords.

So this week you will find a selection of acoustic versions of very well known songs by some of my favourite artists - Paolo Nutini's Last Request and Better Man are two of my favourite songs of all time! And so are Radiohead's Creep and Fake Plastic Trees. There are also some classics, like Stone Temple Pilots' Plush or Muse's Muscle Museum, and some cheeky tunes - The Middle, by Jimmy Eat World, or The Kooks' She Moves in Her Own Way being great examples. Last but not least, there are versions you will probably fall in love with too, as I dare you not to with Maverick Sabre's I Need or The Fratellis' Desperate Guy.
